The Ezy Garden Hori Hori Knife is great when you're trying to dig in soil that has roots, branches, etc in it. It has a serrated edge to help cut through things easily. There is also an engraving on one side of the knife to help you measure up to six inches. I also love the fact that there is a case it comes in. That's an essential factor as I have a 5 year old that is always around and getting into things and although the blade isn't extremely sharp, it's still pretty sharp and too dangerous for kids to use. Although she helps with a lot of things, I wouldn't trust a 5 year old with a sharp tool like this! I have been using it for weeding in our front garden area by our walkway and it has helped get out even the deepest roots, which is perfect for what I needed to accomplish. The knife has a large handle which makes it easy to hold onto and this gardening tool can help you out with so much!
