I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of this ocarina! It is heavy and the coloring is simply gorgeous. The sound of it reminds me of the sound a recorder makes. Yes, the recorders you may have played while you were in school. Even if you don't want to buy this product for it's musical instrument capabilities, I think this one would be great even as a piece to add to your collection, especially if you're a Zelda fan.
I really like the fact that it came with a little booklet that explained how to play it and how you can make different notes by covering or uncovering specific holes. It also came with a cute little purple string that I am guessing you could tie the ocarina to. (My cat attacked and ruined the string before I could use it!) I would definitely recommend this for anyone who loves music or loves Zelda. It is easy even for younger children to use. My niece, who is 5, was able to play it quite easily after I showed her how to hold it. This ocarina gets two thumbs up from me for quality, appearance and overall coolness!
