There have been plenty of times when I have been waiting for an important email or call from work and haven't been able to enjoy my weekend or vacation at the beach with my family because of the fact that I need to have my phone. With this product I could definitely bring my phone along and not have to worry about my phone being damaged by water or sand.
The waterproof case is relatively cheap looking but it does the job. One thing that I noticed that wasn't true, though, is the fact that, while testing out the waterproof case in the sink, it did not float like it said it was supposed to. Every other feature worked exactly as described though. I was able to send texts through the waterproof bag/case, check emails and even made a call. I am not sure that I would trust this product's floating capabilities (although maybe it was just because it was in the sink) but my phone didn't get wet at all and I left it submerged for 20 minutes to see if water would seep in.
Overall I think this is a product that would be helpful to anyone needing to have their phone with them at the beach and I would definitely recommend it. My tip is: keep the case on it's "leash" and don't expect it to float 100%.
