Protection From Identity Theft!

One thing that has always been something of concern to me (and should be a concern of everyone) is identity theft. Nowadays, a lot of very personal items that are most prone to being used for identity theft have RFID technology either in or on them. RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, in case you have never heard of this term before. If an identity thief has the right technology (ie. an RFID scanner/reader) they can easily gain access to your account information without you even knowing it.

I recently got the chance to review RFID SECURE'S RFID Blocking Sleeves. It's basically like a little sleeve for your credit cards and/or passport(s). If you've ever been to a hotel that uses keycards, the sleeve is similar to one that the hotel would place your keycard in.

I placed each one of my cards into a sleeve and they all fit perfectly. The only downside to having each one of my cards in a sleeve is that when I then placed the sleeves into my wallet, as I normally do, they were more bulky then normal and this created an issue as I almost was unable to fit them all into my wallet.

I definitely feel that RFID blocking technology is worth the investment and RFID SECURE did a great job with making card and passport sleeves that are durable and easy to use, however I would most definitely need a bigger wallet!
